Not been here before. Absolutely packed free house with people meeting for early Christmas meals and gaiety. Superb home cooked 3 course meals Stunning desserts Great service and staff. Thanks for the gorgeous evening

My wife and I joined a local friend there for a lovely, well-cooked lunchtime meal, which was well-prepared and delivered to the table by really friendly and helpful staff. Thank you very much!

Popped in for a quick bit to eat. Even though the kitchen has closed the staff still organised dinner for me. Lovely meal, quite pint and fantastic staff. They make you feel so welcome.

This is now our second visit to the Upper Cock, first time was for Sunday lunch, second time was a Saturday evening meal. The menu has such a great variety, but also cooked to an amazing standard, portion sizes are more than what we expected, so also gives you great value for money. Staff are very friendly, and efficient, and always has a great family friendly atmosphere, we will definitely be visiting more, it's well worth the 15 minute walk for us to be able to enjoy a nice drink, excellent food in a great atmosphere.

We couldn’t have been more delighted with my birthday buffet party at the Upper Cocks yesterday. Everything was perfect and everyone enjoyed themselves so much. Mani and her staff did us proud and making arrangements with them was very easy. The food was delicious, very fresh, a great variety, including a lot of spicy food at my request, and there was so much of it. The price was very reasonable. The staff were delightful and the room lovely. The Upper Cocks is a big asset to the community. My friends and I shall be eating there frequently.

I had my dad's wake here. The service was brilliant right through from the moment I rang to book it. The buffet was amazing with great tasting food and plenty of it. I highly recommend it here and will definitely be going back to try their meals.

We had Easter Sunday lunch today and it was outstanding !! The food, the atmosphere, the service was second to none!! I loved the fact they brought a huge gravy boat over with having to ask! the meals was gorgeous and homemade pavlova was so tasty ! I would 100% recommend it!
